Dr Amy Prosser is an early career postdoctoral fellow in the Immunology and Transplantation Laboratory of Professor Michaela Lucas at UWA. She completed her PhD in 2022 investigating the fate of tissue-resident lymphocytes and the immune response to solid organ transplantation using mouse models of liver and heart transplantation. Prior to this, she worked in various areas of immunology research including asthma, cancer, neonatal sepsis, and infectious diseases in Australia and The Netherlands.
Her current research focusses on understanding the immune responses to transplantation that lead to graft tolerance or rejection and investigating novel targets for immunosuppression to improve transplant outcomes.
