Dr Kieran Mulroney is an early career researcher from the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research and the University of Western, focused on the development of novel applications of flow cytometry for the microbiology lab. Working with a multidisciplinary team across multiple institutions, he has focused his post-PHD period on developing new applications that combine the foundational principles of flow cytometry with advanced analytics and artificial intelligence to deliver precise, rapid, single-cell resolution applications for eventual use in the diagnostic laboratory.

He is passionate about research impact by commercialisation, and helping researchers unlock the power of their knowledge and intellectual property as a means to support future research.
